Empire-at-War.com is still here, only bigger and better, in July 2006 we changed to Petro-Gamers.com, we still cover Empire at War but we expanded to cover all future Petroglyph games.
- When did Petro-Gamers.com first open?
Petro-Gamers.com was officially opened 30th of June 2005 as Empire-at-War.com.
- Who founded the site, and who owns it?
The original site (Empire-at-War.com) was founded in June 2005 by Sonic, the owner, founder and webmaster.
- Who hosts Petro-Gamers.com?

- Can I get my site hosted on Petro-Gamers.com?

- Can I join the Petro-Gamers.com staff?
If you ask us directly chances are probably not, but we will keep in you mind, when need new staff we advertise on our main page. We sometimes ask certain people directly. You can write us articles and we may ask you join as a permanent article writer if it meets our standards.
- How big is the staff at Petro-Gamers.com, and do you really need that many people?
This is to hard to track since our current staff comes as goes as they please since they are not paid to work on Petro-Gamers.com. View our staff page here for the current team.
- What programs do you use to create the site?
All HTML coding was done with HomeSite by Macromedia. Our layout images were made using Paint Shop Pro by Corel. All scripts were edited using Editpad. AceFTP by Visicom Media is primarily used to upload our files.
- What scripts do you use on the site?
We previously used K2News Management by Kreative Studios to display our daily updates. Our forums are powered by phpBB2. Polls are handled SymPoll. Our News system uses a customized version of Seepies.net Forumnews.
- Can I advertise on Petro-Gamers.com?
Sorry we can not sell or give up advertising space on our site.
